Job summary

pt-holdings is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to diagnose, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of commercial foodservice equipment. You’ll work with restaurants, schools, and hotels to keep kitchens operating safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with troubleshooting electrical, gas, refrigeration, and plumbing systems, read schematics, and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing commercial kitchen or foodservice equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of gas, electrical, refrigeration, or plumbing systems is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage a service schedule.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Industry certifications are a plus, but we’re willing to invest in the right technician.

• Servicing ovens, fryers, griddles, steamers, ranges, dishwashers, refrigeration equipment, and other foodservice equipment
• Performing preventative maintenance
• Diagnosing equipment failures and determining the best repair solution
• Completing service calls accurately and professionally
• Communicating with customers regarding equipment problems and recommended repairs
• Maintaining accurate service records
• Following all safety procedures and manufacturer specifications
• Keeping your service vehicle, tools, and equipment organized and maintained

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial foodservice equipment.

You’ll work directly with restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, hotels, institutions, and other commercial customers to keep their kitchens operating safely and efficiently.

• Repairing and maintaining commercial cooking equipment
