Job summary

Hoodz of the Mid Hudson Valley is hiring Commercial Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technicians for all shifts. Pay based on experience, starting minimum $18/hr. No experience is necessary, and paid training plus monthly bonuses are offered.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, drug screening and background check, and ability to lift 50 lbs with excellent attention to detail and customer communication. DUTIES include power washing, site setup, independent completion of projects, and equipment

• Be dependable - must be on time!
• Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Have EXCELLENT attention to detail and work efficiently.
• Communicate well with customers, team members and management.
• Have a desire to learn quickly and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job duties include:

• Power washing of kitchen exhaust systems including hoods, duct work, filters and exhaust fans.
• Set up and take down of all job sites and equipment including wiping down stainless steel hoods, setting up wet/dry vacuums, high pressure hoses, pre-sprayers, ladders, hanging plastic sheeting. etc.
• Independent completion of work projects without supervision.
• Maintain equipment, reporting any mechanical deficiencies.
