Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an SCA Appliance Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on government furnished food preparation and serving equipment. Based at USMC Garrison, you’ll work afternoons on weekdays with full-time hours and a fixed pay range.

Your experience in commercial appliance repair, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license will be essential as you troubleshoot a variety of appliance issues on site. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED certificate, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in the commercial appliance repair field.
• Universal EPA Technician Certification under Section 608 of the Clean Air Act and EPA regulations.
• Basic certification in appliance repair or relevant field from a recognized institution.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair kitchen and other commercial appliances.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and extend the lifespan of appliances.
• Ensure proper record keeping and safety compliance.
• Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts depending on business necessities and client requirements.
