Job summary

Whaley Foodservice is seeking an experienced service technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment. The role involves coordinating with customers and branches, documenting service calls, and ensuring parts are available for timely repairs.

You will travel extensively to client sites, maintain company vehicles and tools, and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver's license and driving record that aligns with safety standards.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• 1 year of applicable experience in commercial cooking equipment, refrigeration, or HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment, refrigeration, or HVAC.
• Provide repair status updates to customer and branch.
• Communicate parts orders with branch.
• Complete service calls accurately and promptly.
• Audit truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms per Whaley standards and safety policies.
• Meet on-call requirements.
