Job summary

Reliable Electric and Lighting is seeking a Commercial Journeyman Electrician to install, diagnose, and repair electrical systems in offices, retail spaces, and industrial facilities in Delaware. You’ll work on wiring, panels, and lighting, ensure code compliance, and communicate with clients to provide updates.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, a valid journeyman license or equivalent, and the ability to work on-call and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Journeyman electrician license or equivalent experience required or preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills are essential.
• Excellent communication with clients and team during installations and repairs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew on various sites.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical wiring, circuits, panels, switches, and lighting in commercial buildings.
• Identify wiring routes and equipment placements per project specs.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning electrical systems and components.
• Replace faulty wiring, breakers, and other components to restore function.
• Respond to emergency electrical issues with quick, safe repairs.
• Ensure compliance with NEC and local codes.
• Maintain records of installations and maintenance.
• Communicate scope and progress to clients and property managers.
