Job summary

Conserva-Irrigation-of-Wilmington is seeking a Commercial Technician to diagnose and repair residential and commercial irrigation systems, working independently and with a Sales Technician to ensure reliable operation.

You will troubleshoot valves, decoders, and wire-path faults, diagnose and install two-wire controllers and advanced irrigation technology, and enhance existing commercial irrigation systems.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing irrigation systems and identifying faults.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation valves, decoders, and wire path faults
• Diagnose and install two-wire irrigation controllers and advanced irrigation technology
• Enhance and expand existing commercial irrigation systems
• Install high tech sensors and flow sensing equipment
• Diagnose irrigation system problems and implement effective repairs
• Complete commercial irrigation inspections for large and small scale systems
• Complete work orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship
• Work independently, yet be part of a team working directly with a Sales Technician
• Work with property managers and board members to direct a clear plan for repairs and system upgrades

As a Commercial Technician, you will work independently and alongside a Sales Technician to assess residential and commercial irrigation systems while diagnosing and repairing system issues

Commercial Technician Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation valves, decoders, and wire path faults
