Job summary

Elements, via its Slate studio, is seeking a Designer to create functional, visually compelling commercial furniture environments aligned with client needs and manufacturer standards. You’ll collaborate with sales and project management to deliver superior design solutions.

You will develop space plans, create installation drawings, and coordinate with suppliers while ensuring compliance with codes. In-person collaboration at Denver or Fort Collins offices is required, with up to regular

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in interior design/architecture.
• 2+ years of design experience in contract furniture and construction.
• Proficient in CET Designer (Configura), AutoCAD, and SketchUp; strong 3D modeling skills.
• Knowledge of furniture and interior design principles, materials, and trends.
• Ability to interpret client needs and translate them into design concepts.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior Designers and project teams to understand requirements and objectives.
• Create furniture and construction renderings aligned with client needs and industry standards.
• Own technical design aspects: measurements, specifications, and quotes with accuracy.
• Develop space plans using CET Designer, AutoCAD, and manufacturer tools.
• Source materials and finishes meeting budgets and concepts.
• Present concepts to clients and stakeholders for feedback and revisions.
