Job summary

Garage Door Partners in Georgia is seeking a Commercial Door Installer to join our field team. You will diagnose, install and service commercial garage doors, applying problem-solving skills and attention to safety.

You will work with installation managers, ensure quality work, follow OSHA guidelines, and contribute to customer referrals and lasting service relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial garage door service.
• Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA and related) and commitment to a safe work environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time/priorities.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with installation manager, warehouse manager and apprentices to complete jobs on time.
• Present yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win referrals and repeat business.
• Ensure jobs are properly completed; complete checklists in the system.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and correct inventory on truck.
• Participate in training exercises, morning meetings, and technical vendor training.
• Train and mentor teammates to ensure on-time, high-quality installations.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
