Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a Commercial HVAC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC/R systems. The role ensures equipment operates efficiently and safely while delivering high-quality service to customers.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 2 years of commercial HVAC service experience.
EPA Universal Certification.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC equipment including rooftop units, chillers, air handlers, split systems, and control systems.
Inspect and test system components to identify operational issues.
Install, replace, and commission HVAC equipment and components.
Perform electrical troubleshooting on motors, control circuits, relays, and related equipment.
Monitor and adjust building automation and control systems.
Respond to emergency service calls and equipment failures.
Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and work orders.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, EPA requirements, and company safety policies.
Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and management regarding equipment conditions and repair recommendations.
