Southern Home Services is seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team in a role that covers installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems. You’ll work to ensure efficient, reliable operation and provide excellent customer service while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years hands‑on HVAC service or installation experience.
• HVAC commercial experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment and work safely in confined spaces.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to pass drug tests and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Expertly clean, adjust, and repair HVAC systems including air handling units and ductwork.
• Perform diagnostic assessments to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
• Provide professional HVAC solutions and energy‑efficient improvements.
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and clear expectations.
• Complete invoices, warranties, and timesheets for service calls.
• Maintain tools, parts, and service vehicle in ready condition.
• Respond promptly to emergency repairs and minimize downtime.
• Stay updated on HVAC technologies and best practices.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Skills

High school diploma or equivalent

3+ years HVAC experience

HVAC commercial experience preferred

Ability to lift/move heavy equipment

Safety protocols knowledge
