Metro Mechanical, a Fidelity Company, is hiring HVAC Service Technicians in the Hammond, LA area. We provide award-winning service for commercial HVAC systems and build lasting client partnerships through reliability and expertise.

Join a close-knit team that values safety, continuous training, and top‑quality workmanship. You will diagnose and repair HVAC/R equipment, calibrate controls, read blueprints, and support customers with professional service.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC/R systems.
• Knowledge of refrigeration, electrical, and microprocessor controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency in refrigerant evacuation, recovery, and charging.
• Ability to calibrate thermostats and DDC controls.
• Ability to perform combustion analysis on gas-fired equipment.
• Capable of working at heights and on ladders.

Skills and Requirements

• Strong knowledge of the tools and techniques used to maintain, diagnose problems, and repair HVAC/R and associated electrical systems.
• Knowledge of refrigeration, electrical, and microprocessor control systems

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to interpret diagrams, drawings, and equipment manuals.
