Job summary
SST Direct in Greenville, SC is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to install and service rooftop units, split systems, chillers, cooling towers, and related ductwork. You will troubleshoot thermostats and controls and assist with piping and rigging as needed.
Candidates must have Universal Refrigerant Certification, at least four years in commercial/industrial HVAC, MVR to operate a company vehicle, and be prepared for overtime and weekend work during peak seasons.
Qualifications
- Four+ years of experience as a commercial/industrial HVAC technician.
- Universal refrigerant certification required.
- Valid MVR to operate company vehicle.
- Overtime and weekend availability during peak seasons.
- Experience with gas and water piping layouts preferred.
Responsibilities
- Install and service RTUs, split systems, chillers, cooling towers, and minor ductwork.
- Install and troubleshoot thermostats and controls; assist with piping and rigging as required.

Job description
- Pay is $35 -$45/h depending on experience and certification

Duties and Responsibilities of HVAC Technician
- Install/Service Roof top units, split systems, chillers, cooling towers and minor duct systems.
- Install and troubleshoot HVAC thermostats, controls, etc. as needed. Assist with ductwork, water, and gas piping, and rigging as required.
Qualifications for HVAC Technician:
- Meet MVR requirements to be able to operate company vehicle
- Universal Refrigerant Certification
- Four or more years of prior work experience as a Commercial or Industrial HVAC Tech
- Prior experience in gas piping layout/installation, water piping layout/installation and refrigerant piping layout/installation is preferred
- Must be available for some overtime, on‑call, and weekend work, especially during spring and summer.
