Job summary

Comfort Systems USA (Corporate) seeks an HVAC Technician to service and maintain commercial/industrial systems in Corinth, MS. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of equipment, documenting work on handheld devices, and delivering safe, reliable service.

You will work both independently and as part of a team, travel within a specified territory, and contribute to a culture of safety and customer satisfaction. EPA universal certification and OSHA 10 are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience repairing and troubleshooting commercial HVAC/R equipment.
• EPA universal certification preferred.
• Experience with RTU, air handlers, split systems, chilled water, or boiler systems preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting tasks safely in commercial and industrial settings.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC equipment as needed.
• Diagnose causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to equipment.
• Service, diagnose and troubleshoot various types of split systems, packaged rooftop, rooftop units, heat pumps, DX systems, pneumatic, electrical control systems, and other mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to equipment.
• Use your HVAC skills and experience to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain medium to large sized complex heating and cooling systems and associated control systems, ranging from 3 tons to 1280 tons.
• Complete required electronic documentation daily on a handheld device
• Work independently, and as part of a team, to complete assigned tasks within an allotted time frame.
• Operate company vehicle to complete service calls in a specified territory.
• Perform other related duties or special projects, as assigned.
