Skilled Trades Services in Jacksonville, FL is actively hiring experienced Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanics for exciting commercial construction projects. If you have experience installing ductwork and reading blueprints, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities include installing various duct systems, reading HVAC drawings, measuring, cutting, hanging, and coordinating with other trades on active job sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in installing HVAC sheet metal and ductwork on commercial projects.
• Ability to read blueprints and HVAC drawings.
• Must have basic hand tools and reliable transportation.
• OSHA 10 Certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Install square, round, spiral, and rectangular ductwork.
• Read and interpret blueprints and HVAC drawings.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and hang sheet metal duct systems.
• Install VAV boxes, diffusers, dampers, and related HVAC components.
• Ensure work is completed safely and meets quality standards.
• Work effectively with other trades on active commercial job sites.
