Mid-South Equipment Sales in Louisiana is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to inspect, start‑up, and maintain equipment we sell. This full‑time role requires strong customer service and coordination with project managers, service coordinators and customers.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, 5+ years of experience, VRF knowledge, OSHA 10, EPA certification preferred, and the ability to work in varied environments.

Reports to: Area Service ManagerFLSA Status: Non‑Exempt
We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician. This position will be responsible for performing electrical and mechanical inspection, start‑up, and maintenance on the equipment we sell. It is a full‑time opportunity for an energetic go‑getter. An ideal candidate will be customer‑service oriented and work well with others. The position requires a high level of correspondence with Project Managers, Service Coordinators and customers.
Language Skills: Ability to read, comprehend and write correspondence, and to present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute rates, ratios, percent, and interpret graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form, deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations, and maintain mental stamina for problem solving and prioritizing multiple tasks.
Requirement: Work in a field environment, multiple customer sites daily.
Regular use of hands to operate computer keyboard and reach with hands and arms. Frequent standing, walking and sitting. Constantly required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Regular lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Visual requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
