Total Tech Corporation – A Tech24 Company in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an HVAC/refrigeration technician with 3+ years of commercial experience. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment, with emphasis on safety and EPA compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commercial refrigeration service.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical diagnostics, airflow, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment including walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, ice machines, beverage equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity.
• Install, replace, and commission refrigeration systems as needed.
• Accurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues, recommendations, and maintenance plans.
• Maintain EPA compliance and adhere to local, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked.
• Respond to emergency service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities.
