Job summary
Carmel Country Club is seeking an experienced HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to join our Facilities Team on-site in Charlotte, NC. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and building systems across our 380-acre campus.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience, strong electrical troubleshooting, and the ability to read wiring diagrams. Preference for water source heat pumps and CMMS proficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial HVAC/Refrigeration experience.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Experience with commercial refrigeration systems preferred.
- Water source heat pumps experience highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment and refrigeration systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical and control systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment.
- Install new HVAC and refrigeration equipment as needed.
- Respond to equipment failures in a timely manner.
- Maintain maintenance records in CMMS.
- Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized services.
- Ensure compliance with mechanical, electrical, and safety codes.
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergencies.
- Assist with other facilities tasks as workload permits.
