Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a Commercial HVAC Technician to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC/refrigeration systems across our facilities. You will work with site operations and vendors to keep equipment reliable and safe. This hands-on role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Universal CFC Certification required.
• 3+ years of commercial HVAC and refrigeration experience.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, manuals, and technical documents.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to personal safety and the safety of others.
• OSHA 10 certification within six months of hire.
• Basic computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PDF.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work onsite at company locations; on-call rotation possible.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair building HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Use BAS/BMS to diagnose and fix system issues.
• Coordinate with vendors and prepare work orders.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks to maximize equipment life and reduce downtime.
• Review work orders and estimate materials needed.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
• Respond to emergency facility issues.
• Support general building repairs (electrical, plumbing, painting).
• Assist with managing contractors and vendors.
• Respond to internal service requests and tickets.
• Help train and support maintenance staff.
• Build positive relationships with internal customers and vendors.
• Follow OSHA safety policies.
