Job summary

DOC Services Inc. in Summerville, SC is seeking a Commercial HVAC– Refrigeration Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC and light industrial equipment.

You will troubleshoot electronics and electrical components, locate problems, and ensure reliable operation. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, EPA Certification, a valid driver's license, at least 5 years of experience with commercial HVAC-R equipment, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with commercial HVAC-R equipment
• EPA Certification required
• Proficiency with MS Office products
• Ability to provide own set of tools

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting the electronic and electrical components
• Repair and Preventive Maintenance for Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Units
• Locating source of problems by observing mechanical devices in operations
• Providing daily reports and communicate regularly with store managers, the regional DOC Supervisor and the assigned office administrator
• Removing defective parts by dismantling devices, using hand and power tools and examining form and texture of parts
• Identifying correct parts needed for equipment and close calls in a timely manner
• Adhering to OSHA and DOC safety regulations
• Maintaining company vehicle
• Other Duties as Required
