Job summary

Dynamic Air Solutions in Louisville provides commercial HVAC and refrigeration services across Kentucky and the Nashville area. We seek a Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain systems on mission-critical sites, ensuring reliability, safety, and efficiency.

You will handle rooftop units, chillers, boilers, BAS controls, and refrigeration, performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues, and communicating options to customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC/R service experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
• EPA Section 608 Certification; universal preferred.
• Journeyman or Master HVAC license where applicable.
• Experience with chillers, boilers, and BAS controls.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems including RTUs, split systems, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, heat pumps, and refrigeration equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and emergency repairs
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control system issues
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
• Service walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-in units, ice machines, and commercial refrigeration systems
• Diagnose refrigerant leaks, compressor failures, control issues, and airflow problems
• Work with building automation systems, thermostats, sensors, and control panels
• Verify system performance using gauges, meters, and diagnostic tools
• Identify efficiency opportunities and recommend system improvements
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues and options
• Complete service tickets, work orders, and inspection reports accurately
• Maintain professional conduct on customer sites and represent the company positively
• Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety protocols at all times
• Maintain clean and organized job sites

Education

EPA Section 608 Certification (universal preferred)
