Job summary

Airlogix is seeking a commercial HVAC/R troubleshooter to diagnose and fix high-stakes systems in the NYC metro area and New Jersey. This role focuses on ownership from intake to resolution, with emphasis on reliability and lasting fixes rather than simple part swaps.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with rooftop/split systems, refrigeration, boilers, and make-up air, plus a strong diagnostic mindset and clear communication. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• EPA certification required; Universal EPA a strong plus.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• NYC OSHA/SST preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the problem from intake to resolution.
• Diagnose root causes before recommending parts.
• Troubleshoot commercial HVAC/R systems including rooftop units, refrigeration, boilers, and airflow.
• Perform preventive maintenance with an eye toward optimization.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team, ensuring completion.

We’re hiring a commercial troubleshooter—someone who thrives on diagnosing, communicating, and delivering lasting fixes, not just swapping parts. This is not residential change-out work.

Your Mission

Own the problem from intake to resolution while elevating system reliability and performance.

• Commercial rooftop and split systems
• Refrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins, and more)
• Boilers and chillers
• Make-up air and exhaust systems
• Electrical, airflow, mechanical, and controls troubleshooting
• Preventive maintenance with an eye toward optimization

Required & Preferred
