Responsibilities

• Supports the development of project plans, schedules and budgets for projects under responsibility to ensure adherence to the established program plan, schedule, and budget.
• Tracks progress and identifies/resolves obstacles to minimize disruption to project schedules.
• Forecasts project revenues and re-estimates project costs on a monthly basis to monitor costs and maximize project profitability.
• Analyzes data gathered and develops solutions or alternative methods of proceeding to optimize performance.
• Maintains and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s) to track progress and ensure that established targets are met.
• Identifies and addresses project problems and recommends resolutions to ensure successful completion of projects.
• Facilitates project tasks with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in HVAC, Construction or Building Automation and Controls
• 1+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid and current Driver’s License and can be insurable by the company’s insurance

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized college or university in building HVAC with a focus on building automation controls (3- or 4-year program)
• Ability to lead and motivate teams
• Strong problem solving, planning and project management skills
• Ability to read and understand scope of work
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• General knowledge of employment laws and practices
• Demonstrated knowledge of project financial reporting
• Previous field experience with commissioning of DDC Systems and/or hands-on experience in the field of deploying or commissioning
• Prior experience in Construction, HVAC and/or Building Automation preferred
• Experience in dealing with a number of simultaneous challenges, requiring knowledge of many different disciplines
• A true team player who has the customer’s best interests first and foremost
