Job summary

PowerSecure, a Southern Company subsidiary, is seeking a Service Technician – Commercial Generators in Fayetteville, NC. You will perform maintenance and repair on contracted and non-contracted generator and power distribution equipment, and provide technical support to customers on operational or maintenance issues.

We offer training and multiple levels of technician advancement, with daily on-site work, occasional travel, and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Six or ten years of field experience depending on level.
• Expert troubleshooting and engine repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Daily on-site maintenance and repair of generator and power distribution equipment.
• Provide technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects.
• Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams; perform diagnostics and repairs.
• Maintain tools and equipment; ensure safety standards and proper documentation.
