Job summary

Executive Flooring and Construction seeks a commercial carpenter to construct, erect, install, and repair structures in commercial spaces. The role involves rough framing, finish carpentry, and working from blueprints on large-scale projects such as offices and industrial sites.

You will cut, shape, and install materials like wood, metal studs, steel, and fiberglass, while maintaining OSHA safety standards and a clean, organized worksite.

Qualifications

• Structural framing with metal studs and wood joists.
• Finish carpentry including cabinetry, trim, doors, and countertops.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and layouts.
• Material cutting, shaping, and fastening of wood, steel, plastic, and fiberglass.
• Adherence to OSHA safety standards and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Structural Framing: Build and install metal stud walls, wood joists, trusses, and scaffolding.
• Finish Carpentry: Install cabinetry, trim, molding, doors, hardware, and countertops.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, and layouts.
• Material Prep: Cut, shape, and fasten materials like wood, steel, plastic, and fiberglass.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA safety standards, maintain a clean site, and use PPE.
