Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking a motivated Commercial/Fixtures Project Manager to oversee and deliver customer fixture projects in the Austin/Central Texas region. You will lead from kickoff to completion, coordinating with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and best-in-class service.

You will own project scope, timelines, and procurement while building strong customer relationships and providing proactive updates.

• PM, coordination, construction experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial/fixtures projects from start to finish, within budget.
• Serve as primary point of contact for customers and maintain communication.
• Review orders and documentation for accuracy; coordinate with sales.
• Prepare lead times, track submittals and approvals.
• Create and maintain project schedules; monitor progress and issues.
• Provide regular status updates and ensure timely billing.

You’ll receive structured support, hands on training, and the opportunity to take ownership of projects that make a visible and lasting difference for our customers.ResponsibilitiesManage commercial/fixtures projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budgetServe as the primary point of contact for customers, establishing communication early and maintaining it throughout the projectReview purchase orders, project documentation, and customer requirements to ensure accuracyCoordinate with sales teams to set up projects and verify project informationPrepare and communicate lead time expectations, identifying long lead and non stock itemsTrack and manage submittals, approvals, revisions, and all related documentationConduct project kickoff discussions with customers to confirm scope, materials, schedules, delivery requirements, and expectationsRecommend appropriate products and solutions based on customer needs and project requirementsCreate and maintain project schedules, tracking release dates, delivery phases, and material requirementsCommunicate with vendors to initiate orders and gather required documentationCoordinate material procurement, order processing, and deliveries to meet project timelinesMonitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep the project on scheduleMaintain organized project records and ensure accurate order entry and pricingProvide regular status updates to customers and internal partners throughout the projectEnsure timely and accurate billing throughout the projectBuild strong customer relationships by providing proactive communication and a smooth project experience through best in class customer serviceOccasional job site or customer office visits may be required based on project needs; no regular travel requiredQualificationsProject management, project coordination, construction, or related experience preferredRelevant industry experience preferredAbility to learn project management tools, sales systems, and technical product informationExcellent communication and organizational skills, with strong attention to prioritizationCustomer focused mindset and ability to build positive, professional relationshipsAbility to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast paced environmentStrong proficiency with computers and software programs, including all Microsoft Office applicationsFlexible, adaptable, and comfortable handling multiple urgent requestsSelf starter with strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independentlyStrong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate ideas clearly in both technical and user friendly termsAt Ferguson, we care for each other.
