Job summary

Commercial Fire Protection Inc. is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter in Portland, OR to service and repair commercial sprinkler systems and participate in installations, tenant improvements, and residential projects.

The role requires following blueprints, NFPA standards, and safety guidelines while delivering high-quality work. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong physical stamina for labor, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50-70 lbs.
• Must follow NFPA codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair commercial sprinkler systems.
• Install new systems, retrofits, tenant improvements and residential dwellings.
• Read and follow blueprints and plans; report progress.
• Install dry-pipe and pre-action systems, underground fire lines and related equipment.
• Lead projects to complete systems on time and correctly.
• Adhere to OSHA and CFP safety standards.
