Top Echelon Software LLC seeks a Commercial Finance & Operations Analysis Manager to bridge bid economics with delivery and drive profitable growth. You will develop data-backed pricing for new business, monitor post-bid performance, and furnish senior leadership with real-time operational insights.

You will partner with Sales, Account Management, Operations, and Finance to win and grow profits, build pricing models, and establish a single source of truth across the organization.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or related field.
• At least five (5) years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or operational finance.
• Experience building financial models to support business decisions (RFP pricing, margin analysis).
• GAAP understanding, including P&L structure.
• Experience in accounting, FP&A, or related finance function.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, or automotive preferred.
• SQL or data querying skills preferred.
• Experience with TMS or ERP data (e.g., NetSuite) preferred.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring analysts preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver regular reporting on post-bid performance vs. bid economics (revenue, cost per unit, margin, volume).
• Identify variances, diagnose root causes, and recommend actions to close gaps.
• Assist with margin expansion through analysis of operational performance.
• Collaborate with Sales and Account Management on RFPs, bids, and spot rate requests with competitive pricing.
• Build and maintain pricing models reflecting lane economics, capacity, costs, fuel, and market conditions.
• Translate bid assumptions into clear, defensible recommendations balancing win rate and profitability.
• Design and maintain reporting frameworks, KPIs, and dashboards for real-time health visibility.
• Establish consistent metric definitions and data standards as a single source of truth.
• Build financial models for ad hoc projects to support senior leadership decisions.
• Automate recurring reporting and improve data quality and turnaround time.

Commercial Finance & Operations Analysis Manager

The Commercial & Operations Analysis Manager connects what our client bids to what they deliver. Reporting to the Director, Commercial & Operational Analysis, this position will build competitive, data-backed pricing for new business, track how awarded business performs against its bid economics, and give senior leadership clear, real-time visibility into operational health. The position will work closely with Sales, Account Management, Operations, and Finance to help our client win and grow profitable business.

Job Duties

• Deliver regular reporting to senior leadership on how recently awarded business performs against its original bid economics, including revenue, cost per unit, margin, and volume
• Identify variances early, diagnose root causes, and recommend pricing, operational, or contractual actions to close gaps
• Assist with margin expansion across the business through actionable analysis of operational performance
• Partner with Sales and Account Management to respond to OEM and dealer group RFPs, bids, and spot rate requests with accurate, competitive pricing
• Build and maintain pricing models that reflect lane economics, capacity, carrier and contractor costs, fuel, and market conditions
• Translate bid assumptions into clear, defensible recommendations that balance win rate with profitability
• Design and maintain reporting frameworks, KPIs, and dashboards that provide real-time visibility into operational health
• Establish consistent metric definitions and data standards so leaders across Sales, Operations, and Finance work from a single source of truth
• Build financial models for ad hoc projects to support senior leadership decision making on business operations
• Automate recurring reporting and continuously improve data quality, accuracy, and turnaround time
• Other duties as assigned

Skills Required

• Strong financial acumen, including margin, cost-to-serve, and unit economics
• Strong analytical, modeling, and problem solving skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Ability to present complex analysis clearly and confidently to senior leadership
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
• Highly organized and detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure to meet deadlines

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or a related field
• At least five (5) years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or operational finance
• Experience working with and building financial models to support business decisions, such as RFP pricing, margin analysis, or other operational business investments
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP), including P&L structure
• Experience in accounting, FP&A, or a related finance function
• Experience in transportation, logistics, or automotive preferred
• SQL or other data querying skills preferred
• Experience with TMS or ERP data, such as NetSuite, preferred
• Prior experience leading or mentoring analysts preferred
