Job summary

Palm Construction in Sonoma, CA is seeking a motivated Handyman/Electrician to service commercial clients throughout the area. This is a steady, no upsell position focused on solid, professional commercial work.

Responsibilities include electrical troubleshooting, lighting retrofits, EMS system checks, panel repairs, and general handyman tasks. A clean driving record and 5+ years in trades are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the trades.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with local building codes and NEC.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot basic electrical issues.
• Perform lighting repairs and LED retrofits.
• Troubleshoot EMS systems.
• Perform repairs inside electrical panels.
• Repair and replace ballasts, drivers, switches, and outlets.
• Ensure all work complies with local codes and NEC requirements.
• Basic drywall repair and painting.
• Door and lock repairs and adjustments.
• Basic flooring repairs (VCT, carpet squares, etc.).
• T-bar ceiling repairs.
• General commercial handyman tasks as needed.
