Job summary

Clark Associates is seeking a motivated installer to help expand the Installation division. The role requires mechanical, light plumbing, and electrical experience for delivering and installing commercial kitchen equipment on new construction and operating sites.

You will handle final utility connections and test operations, with overnight stays in select locations as needed. We offer competitive compensation with prevailing wage on public contracts and a benefits package including 401k,

Qualifications

• Mechanical, light plumbing and electrical experience preferred.
• Ability to pass FBI Fingerprinting tests.
• Able to lift heavy equipment and navigate construction sites.
• Valid driver’s license required; PA DOT qualifications encouraged; CDL not required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to construction sites to unload and move equipment.
• Perform professional installations of commercial kitchen equipment with team members.
• Follow directions and processes to ensure quality workmanship.
• Off-load trucks and trailers and prepare installations.
• Construct components/fixtures for equipment in warehouse or field.
• Travel to install jobs in PA, NJ, MD, DE, VA.
• Overnight stays up to four consecutive nights near job site as needed.

Commercial Kitchen Equipment Installers are responsible for the delivery and installation of commercial food service equipment to new construction projects as well as operating establishments as well as final utility connections for gas, plumbing and electrical. Responsibilities

Maintaining high quality customer service and care

• Traveling to construction sites to unload and move equipment into place.
• Perform professional installations of commercial kitchen equipment with team members.
• Ability to follow directions and specific process steps to ensure quality workmanship.
• Off-Loading trucks and trailers
• Construct components/fixtures for equipment in the warehouse or in the field.
• Traveling to install jobs in PA, NJ, MD, DE, VA
• OVERNIGHT STAYS AS LONG AS FOUR CONSECUTIVE NIGHTS NEAR JOB SITE IS REQUIRED, DEPENDING ON JOB LOCATION.

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Experience

• Knowledge of installation of Commercial Kitchen Equipment preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass FBI Fingerprinting tests
• Ability to lift heavy equipment regularly and navigate construction job sites.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Able to pass and maintain PA DOT driver qualifications.
• A CDL is NOT required.
• Qualified to drive 26' & 16' box trucks

Education
