Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an on-site field technician in Louisiana to meet with building owners and operators, install energy efficiency measures, and perform energy audits across a defined territory. The role requires travel daily and hands-on work with basic tools.

You will collect data, explain program offerings, and complete verifications while delivering strong customer service. DOT-regulated duties and safety checks may apply, with post-offer checks required.

Qualifications

  • Experience in construction, facility maintenance, or installation.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel frequently.
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand motions.
  • Ability to lift, carry, or push up to 50 pounds.

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and escalated basic technical or installation issues.
  • Work in the field servicing customers.

  • Valid driver's license in the state of employment
  • Driving record meeting CLEAResult's minimum safety standard
  • Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test
  • Must consent to a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record
  • Must maintain a clean driving record for continued employment
  • Must meet applicable DOT qualification requirements, if applicable
  • Must comply with applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations, if applicable
  • Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without employer sponsorship
  • Must pass pre-employment checks
