Job summary

PremiStar is seeking a skilled Commercial/Industrial Electrician for full-time on-site work in the Texas area. You will install, service and troubleshoot electrical systems supporting commercial mechanical construction and HVAC projects, ensuring safety and code compliance.

You will read blueprints, bend conduit, pull wire, and coordinate with project teams to meet schedules and budgets. A valid license is required with Journeyman preferred; candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of commercial electrical experience.
• Valid Electrician License required.
• Journeyman Electrician License preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the NEC.
• Proficient in conduit bending, wire pulling, panel terminations and equipment connections.
• Able to read blueprints, schematics and drawings.
• Experience in active commercial/industrial jobsite environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication with team members, clients and other trades.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations for commercial mechanical construction projects (HVAC, pumps, control panels).
• Install conduit systems (EMT, rigid, PVC, flexible); bend conduits.
• Pull wire, terminate panels, install breakers, complete system connections.
• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams for accurate installation.
• Perform service work including troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes and company standards.
• Coordinate with PMs, field supervisors, controls techs, and other trades.
• Maintain accurate jobsite documentation and progress updates.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Participate in service calls and emergency repairs as needed.
