Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Commercial Electricians for projects located in or around Barrington, IL. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $45/hour based on experience and skill level.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial electrical experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Experience installing and bending conduit up to 2".
• Experience installing and terminating motors, transformers, panels, switchgear, lighting, receptacles, and control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of NEC and OSHA requirements.
• Experience operating aerial lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts.
• Must be safety-conscious, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and controls in commercial environments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Install conduit and bend up to 2" and install wiring devices.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems using testing equipment and diagnose issues.
• Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to complete projects safely and on schedule.
• Respond to emergency service calls and equipment failures as needed.
