Job summary

Cogent Analytics is seeking a dedicated Commercial Electrician to lead electrical projects in the Quad Cities area. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across residential, commercial, and occasional industrial settings, reading blueprints and schematics to ensure safe, code-compliant work.

You will mentor an apprentice, coordinate with contractors and clients, and maintain rigorous site safety and documentation while delivering high-quality workmanship with daytime hours

Qualifications

• Valid Iowa Journeyman Electrician License (License A or B).
• 3+ years of hands-on electrical experience.
• Strong NEC knowledge and local codes.
• OSHA 10-Hour Certification required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Proficiency with Field Pulse or ERP systems.
• Commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities
