Job summary

Summit Service Solutions is seeking experienced Commercial Electricians for a full-time role in Martinsburg, WV. You will perform electrical installation, conduit bending, and wiring work on a construction project, ensuring NEC compliance and safety standards.

Expect a first-shift schedule with pay from $25–$35/hr, with journeyman earners at $33–$35/hr based on experience. Valid driver’s license and PPE are required; drug screen and background check may be performed.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of commercial electrical construction experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience installing and bending EMT conduit.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; able to lift up to 75 lbs; provide PPE and tools.

Responsibilities

• Electrical installation across project sites, including conduit, panels, and devices.
• Test circuits and troubleshoot equipment to NEC standards.
• Read blueprints and one-line diagrams; layout conduit per specifications.
• Coordinate with other trades to ensure project timelines and safety.

Summit Service Solutions, a trusted skilled trades partner with proven experience serving the construction industry, is seeking experienced Commercial Electricians for an electrical construction project throughout Martinsburg WV area.

This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity. Pay ranges from $25–$35/hr depending on experience and skill level. Journeyman electricians generally earn $33–$35/hr based on demonstrated ability and experience.

Core Responsibilities:

Electrical Installation

• Install EMT, Rigid, IMC, and flexible conduit.
• Bend and fabricate conduit using hand and mechanical benders.
• Pull and terminate branch circuit and feeder conductors.
• Install lighting systems, receptacles, switches, and electrical devices.
• Install panels, disconnects, transformers, and switchgear.
• Mount and wire electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and one-line diagrams.
• Lay out conduit runs according to project specifications.
• Coordinate work with other trades.

Testing & Troubleshooting

• Test circuits and equipment using electrical testing instruments.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and make necessary repairs.
• Verify installations meet NEC requirements.

Safety

• Follow OSHA safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

• Minimum five (5) years of commercial electrical construction experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Demonstrated experience installing and bending EMT conduit.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs as needed
• Must provide standard electrical hand tools and OSHA-compliant PPE.
• Must comply with OSHA and NEC standards (OSHA certification preferred but not required)
