Job summary

American Industrial Services' Electrical Operations Group in Greensboro, NC, is seeking a Sr Commercial Electrician to join our team on industrial and commercial projects.

You will perform conduit bending, panel wiring, blueprints interpretation, and mentor apprentices, while prioritizing safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience as an electrician in industrial/commercial setting.
• Skilled conduit bending and knowledge of electrical materials.
• Ability to read basic blueprints, schematics and electric symbols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Desire to grow into the role of a Lead Electrician.
• Clean license and ability to pass drug screening.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions working in a team environment.
• Bi-lingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

Salary Range: $22.00 To $26.00 Annually

• Work under the direction of Lead Electrician.

• Ability to read basic electrical blueprints and symbols.

Qualification Requirements:

• 4 or more years’ experience as an electrician in an industrial/commercial setting
• Skilled conduit bending
• Knowledge of common electrical materials used in an industrial setting
• Ability to work with moderate supervision
• Understanding of basic wire size capacity, pipe, and box fill
• Experience with motor wiring and controls is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and electric symbols
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Desire to grow into the role of a Lead Electrician
• Clean License and ability to pass drug screening
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions working in a team environment
• Professional presentation and good communication skills; Bi-lingual is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work at heights 15-40ft
• Ability to lift/pull at least 50lbs
