Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical in Auburn, Alabama is seeking a full-time Electrical Helper to assist commercial electricians, mount and install conduit and wiring, and perform material handling under supervision.

The role requires 2 years of commercial electrical field experience, a High School Diploma or GED, OSHA 10 or ability to obtain, and successful passing of pre-employment background and MVR checks when operating motor vehicles; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 2 years recent commercial electrical field experience.
• High School Diploma/GED
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain
• Successfully pass pre-employment background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assists commercial Electricians by performing various tasks and material handling
• Properly mounts and installs assigned work conduit, wires, and strapping as directed
• Assists in wire pulls and other duties as directed by supervisor
• Works from all types of ladders
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures
• Travel may be required.
