Job summary

KE Gutridge LLC in central Ohio is seeking a Commercial Electrical Foreman to lead electrical installation, repair, and maintenance on active construction sites. You will plan layouts, supervise crews, and ensure accurate wiring, fixture, and panel work in accordance with NEC and project specs.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, coordinating with supervisors, maintaining safety on site, and delivering projects on time and budget.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician with valid credentials.
• Foreman experience preferred and proven leadership on job sites.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Commitment to safety and NEC compliance.
• Must supply your own hand tools and select power tools.

Gutridge is a leading construction and service company offering Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Protection and Electrical services to customers in the greater central Ohio marketplace. As a Commercial Electrical Foreman, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical set ups.

What Are We Looking For?

• Plan and lay out electrical work for themselves and assigned crew members, ensuring efficient project execution.
• Install and terminate wiring, fixtures, devices, and distribution equipment including panels and switchgear.
• Measure, cut, and bend conduit using hand and hydraulic benders for accurate circuit layouts.
• Pull, push, and route wire through raceways, cable trays, and other approved systems.
• Use power tools for drilling and cutting, and perform standard electrical repairs including replacing switches, fuses, bulbs, and sockets.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and trace out short circuits using meters and standard diagnostic methods.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and job specifications with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Perform all work in compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC) and company safety policies.
• Set and review daily goals with supervisors and crew, maintaining clear communication and team alignment.
• Identify and implement pre-fabrication opportunities to improve job site productivity.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and materials in an orderly, accountable manner.
• Adapt to changing job site priorities and perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
• Demonstrate leadership, organization, and professionalism on the job site.
• Provide required hand tools and select power tools as outlined in the company handbook.
