Kolb Electric, Inc. is seeking a qualified Project Manager/Estimator for its commercial/property management division. The role combines estimating with project management to drive successful electrical projects from bid to completion.

The position emphasizes customer service, detailed analysis, and collaboration with foremen, engineers, and contractors to define scope, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery. Travel to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Experience reading site plans and electrical systems.
• Proven ability to estimate and bid projects in a timely manner.
• Strong cost control and budgeting skills.
• Excellent communication with customers, peers and contractors.
• Willingness to travel to various project sites.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exceptional customer service.
• Estimate and bid new opportunities promptly.
• Read site plans and understand electrical and fire alarm systems.
• Utilize estimating/bidding software and manage project documentation.
• Build relationships with owners, GCs, subs, and vendors.
• Manage project budgets, costs, and change orders.
• Collaborate with project team to define complete scope of work.
• Prepare schedules and monthly Work-In-Progress reports.
• Ensure safety and compliance on job sites.
• Travel to project sites as required.
