Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-year experience in construction estimating.
• Knowledge of metal stud framing and drywall.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as The Edge, Onscreen Takeoff/QuickBid, Bluebeam, Planswift.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Estimate material, labor, and equipment costs for metal stud, drywall, and ceiling scopes.
• Prepare comprehensive bids based on specs, drawings, and documents.
• Analyze project requirements and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with general contractors and vendors for pricing; negotiate terms.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Maintain detailed records of estimates, bids, contracts, and documents.
