Onsite Group LLC in Houston seeks an experienced Estimator to help inform profitable decisions by gathering project data and preparing accurate estimates. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and proven in estimating.

The role requires forecasting costs, strong mathematical skills, and proficient use of estimation software. You will collaborate with project managers and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent in a related field.
• CPE certification preferred.
• Prior Estimator experience preferred.
• Ability to forecast building costs and use estimation formulas.
• Strong math and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with OST and QB software.
• Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will assist the company in making profitable business decisions by gathering information and preparing accurate estimates. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and has a proven track record as an Estimator.

Responsibilities

• Fully understand the project scope and requirements by studying documentation, meeting with clients, and visiting relevant locations
• Collect necessary documentation such as plans, drawings, and project specifications
• Determine the key variables for cost and conduct research to determine expected labor and materials costs
• Gather bids and negotiate with service providers to secure the best possible prices
• Create and submit estimates to project managers
• Budget and forecast using appropriate software

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) is preferred
• Previous experience as an Estimator is preferred
• Ability to forecast building costs and knowledge of estimation formulas
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Skilled in relevant software (OST and QB )
• Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills
