Job summary

Solid Rock Recruiting LLC is seeking a Commercial Drywall Estimator to join our Bay Area team, covering San Jose and the San Francisco Bay Area. The role focuses on detailed takeoffs, accurate bids, and building relationships with contractors.

You will leverage OS Takeoff and QuickBid, review specs, and collaborate with project management to ensure smooth handoffs and successful project acquisitions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial drywall estimating experience.
• Proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff and QuickBid software.
• Strong understanding of construction documents and specifications.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven track record of successful project acquisitions.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between Bay Area offices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for commercial drywall projects.
• Utilize On-Screen Takeoff and QuickBid software to develop accurate bids.
• Build and maintain relationships with general contractors and key clients.
• Review construction documents, specifications, and addenda.
• Participate in bid day activities and post-bid negotiations.
• Collaborate with project management team to ensure smooth project transitions.
