Job summary

FleetForce in Winter Haven, FL is seeking a Commercial Driver’s License Instructor for a full-time role. You will train new CDL drivers across classroom, skills courses, and behind-the-wheel settings, using our approved curriculum to develop safe, dependable drivers.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, basic control skills, tractor/trailer coupling, shifting techniques, and maintaining student records. Weekend availability is required; FleetForce operates 7 days a week.

Qualifications

• Valid FL Class A CDL with 2+ years of CMV driving experience.
• Current DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one.
• Clean driving history and pass pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
• Effective English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work weekends; FleetForce operates 7 days a week.
• Ability to endure Florida’s hot summer temperatures while standing outdoors for long periods.

As a Commercial Driver’s License Instructor, you will play a key role in training and developing new CDL drivers, using effective teaching methods in classroom settings, skills courses, and behind-the-wheel driving. You’ll help create safe, dependable, and proficient drivers by guiding students through our approved curriculum.

FleetForce, one of Florida's oldest and largest CDL Truck Driving schools, is opening locations all over the state. FleetForce specializes in the development and implementation of customized CDL training programs for our corporate partners across America who want to aggressively expand. FleetForce is a licensed third-party CDL Test Administrator for the State of Florida.

Job Responsibilities
