Overview

Commercial Driver – Part Time at ALLDATA (AutoZone family). AutoZone’s store teams are the frontline of WOW! customer service, assisting customers with automotive parts and solutions, maintaining inventory, and supporting a positive, knowledgeable retail environment.

As a Delivery Driver, you’ll apply safe driving skills, enjoy career stability with growth opportunities, and operate company-provided vehicles. No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service Excellence & Communication – Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
• Leadership & Teamwork – Collaborate with store personnel and commercial accounts to ensure smooth operations and strong customer relationships.
• Metrics Mindedness & Process Orientation – Maintain efficient delivery operations, meet time and accuracy goals, and follow company policies.
• Delivery Operations – Drive company-provided vehicles, ensure safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers, and load/unload parts per route schedules.
• Returns & Pickups – Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Safety Compliance – Follow PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.
• Cash & Charge Transactions – Process customer payments securely per company policy.
• Product Knowledge & Fleet Maintenance – Stay updated on promotions and products; maintain delivery vehicles and report issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Valid Driver’s License & Safety Compliance: Must possess a valid driver’s license and comply with driver safety requirements.
• Automotive Knowledge: Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.

You’ll Go The Extra Mile If You Have

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Exceptional Communication: Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Automotive Retail: Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Hazmat Endorsement (Preferred): A Hazmat endorsement is a plus for handling and transporting regulated materials.
