Job summary

AutoZone is hiring a Delivery Driver to support our store teams with exceptional customer service and reliable deliveries. You will help customers find the right automotive parts, provide product knowledge, and ensure accurate loading, unloading, and timely routes.

No CDL is required and you will operate company-provided vehicles, contributing to a safe and efficient delivery process while supporting commercial and DIY customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and adherence to driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Provide WOW! customer service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers.
• Offer clear, professional automotive advice and installation services when appropriate.
• Collaborate with store personnel and commercial accounts to maintain strong customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations and meet time and accuracy goals.
• Drive company-provided vehicles and ensure timely deliveries to commercial customers.
• Load and unload parts according to route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Follow PPE and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.

• Customer Service Excellence & Communication – Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.

• Safety Compliance – Adhere to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.
• Cash & Charge Transactions – Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
• Product Knowledge & Fleet Maintenance – Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems. Maintain delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Valid Driver’s License & Safety Compliance: Must possess a valid driver’s license and adhere to AutoZone’s driver safety requirements to ensure responsible and secure vehicle operation.
• Automotive Knowledge: Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.

You’ll Go The Extra Mile If You Have

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Exceptional Communication: Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Automotive Retail: Previous experience in automotive retail
• Hazmat Endorsement Preferred: A valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement is a plus, helping ensure proper handling and transportation of regulated materials in compliance with safety standards.
