Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Delivery Driver in Mineral Wells, TX to support commercial and DIY customer needs with safe, on-time parts delivery. You’ll operate company vehicles, assist customers with automotive insights, and uphold inventory and safety standards.

The role requires a valid license, basic automotive knowledge, and a flexible full-time schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime. No CDL is required, and company-provided vehicles are used.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear automotive advice and installation services.
• Lead and collaborate with store personnel and commercial accounts to ensure smooth teamwork and strong customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers, loading/unloading per route schedules.
• Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Adhere to PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.
• Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
• Stay updated on promotions and AutoZone products; maintain delivery vehicles and report issues.

• Cash & Charge Transactions – Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
• Product Knowledge & Fleet Maintenance – Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems. Maintain delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Valid Driver’s License & Safety Compliance: Must possess a valid driver’s license and adhere to AutoZone’s driver safety requirements to ensure responsible and secure vehicle operation.
• Automotive Knowledge: Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible Schedule: Full-time flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Exceptional Communication: Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Automotive Retail: Previous experience in automotive retail
• Hazmat Endorsement Preferred: A valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement is a plus, helping ensure proper handling and transportation of regulated materials in compliance with safety standards.
