AutoZone, Inc. in Memphis, TN is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to support our commercial and DIY customers. You’ll drive company-provided vehicles, ensure safe, timely deliveries, and provide friendly, expert automotive advice at the point of sale.

No CDL is required, but a valid license and safe driving record are essential. This role offers stable full-time hours, training, and opportunities for career growth within AutoZone’s operations.

Qualifications

Minimum age requirement: 18 years or older.
Valid driver’s license and adherence to safety rules.
Basic automotive product knowledge.
Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
Full-time schedule availability including mornings, nights, weekends and overtime.
Bilingual Spanish and English is a plus.

Responsibilities

Deliver WOW! Customer Service by assisting commercial customers and DIY shoppers with automotive guidance and installation services.
Collaborate with store personnel and commercial accounts to maintain strong customer relationships.
Maintain efficient delivery operations, meet time and accuracy goals, and follow company policies.
Drive company-provided vehicles and deliver parts safely and on time to customers.
Load and unload parts per route schedules and manage returns and pickups.
Adhere to PPE and fleet safety policies for a safe working environment.
Process customer payments securely per policy.
Stay updated on promotions and automotive products; maintain delivery vehicles and report issues.

Responsibilities

Customer Service Excellence & Communication – Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
Leadership & Teamwork – Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts, ensuring smooth team collaboration and strong customer relationships.
Metrics Mindedness & Process Orientation – Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
Delivery Operations – Drive company-provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers. Load and unload parts accurately per route schedules.
Returns & Pickups – Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
Safety Compliance – Adhere to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.
Cash & Charge Transactions – Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
Product Knowledge & Fleet Maintenance – Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems. Maintain delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
Valid Driver’s License & Safety Compliance: Must possess a valid driver’s license and adhere to AutoZone’s driver safety requirements to ensure responsible and secure vehicle operation.
Automotive Knowledge: Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
Flexible Schedule: Full-time flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

You’ll Go The Extra Mile If You Have

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Exceptional Communication: Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Automotive Retail: Previous experience in automotive retail
Hazmat Endorsement Preferred: A valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement is a plus, helping ensure proper handling and transportation of regulated materials in compliance with safety standards.
