Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Regional Commercial Driver's License A Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, chassis, refrigerated, and dry-van trailers. The ideal candidate will have experience in no-touch freight delivery and route driving. This position offers the opportunity to work with a professional team dedicated to safety and efficiency in transporting goods across designated routes.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial trucks across assigned routes
• Transport freight using different trailer types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure operational safety and compliance
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation in accordance with company policies
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during route driving
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transit
• Ensure proper securing of freight to prevent damage during transportation

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with clean driving record
• Valid and current Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card
• Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery
• Current Valid DOT medical card with at least 6 months before next needed renewal
• Familiarity with operating manual transmission trucks and various trailer types (primarily 20/40' chassis but limited to also dry van experienced preferred)
• Able to pass and perform a pre-employment testing
• Strong knowledge of safety standards related to commercial trucking and cargo securement
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency
• Ability to work independently on long routes or scheduled deliveries
