Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking Commercial Door Technicians & Installers in Champaign, Illinois. This position is open to both experienced candidates and trainees. Responsibilities include installing and servicing commercial entry doors, while ensuring adherence to safety standards.

Job description

Location: Champaign, Illinois. Position: Commercial Door Technicians & Commercial Door Installers (Automatic Entry Doors, Manual Entry Doors, Commercial Doors). We are hiring both Experienced Commercial Door Service Technicians/Installers and Trainees.

This individual must be able to safely lift 100 lbs. overhead. A Valid Driver’s License is required with a good driving record.

Previous experience in construction, general labor, service technology, installation, carpentry, mechanic, assembly work or any skilled trade is desirable; training will be provided.

Job Responsibilities

• Install or service commercial entry doors and door hardware or commercial doors (sectional, rolling steel, high speed, etc.).
• Repair, adjust, replace, and troubleshoot issues with entry doors and associated hardware or commercial doors.
• Operate in a safety conscious manner at all times.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to safely lift 100 pounds over the head.
• Commercial door experience and welding experience preferred; training will be provided.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Experience in construction, general labor, service technology, installation, carpentry, mechanic, assembly work or any skilled trade is helpful; training will be provided.
