At Vortex Doors, every day starts with purpose. You’ll inspect your truck, review your schedule, and head to the first customer site ready to keep critical operations moving. By noon, you may have diagnosed a rolling steel door with a broken spring, set a new closer on a storefront entry, and calibrated a low-voltage access control—always with safety, codes, and quality top of mind. In the afternoon, you could be back at a distribution dock installing hardware and performing final checks to our unsurpassed quality standards, then documenting your work so the customer—and our team—stay aligned.

  • Diagnose issues such as broken springs, hinges, locks, electrical components, and more; recommend cost-effective fixes to customers.
  • Set up and configure locks, handles, closers, low-voltage components, and access control systems.
  • Verify all work complies with applicable safety requirements and building codes.
  • Deliver clear, courteous customer service—explain findings, outline options, and answer questions.
  • Maintain accurate service records, installation notes, and required reports.
  • Perform rigorous quality checks on all completed work.
Grow with a team that invests in you
  • Industry-best training in our state-of-the-art facility: commercial and retail door openings, hardware, storefront glazing, and automatic doors.

  • Specialized training on hollow metal doors, frames, and hardware.
  • Strong safety culture, positive work environment, and recognition programs.
  • Comprehensive compensation and benefits: health benefits, 401(k) match, 8 paid holidays, vacation/sick program.
  • Company-provided uniform, tools, annual boot allowance, and the use of a company vehicle for service calls.
