Job summary

AMIT GPS & NAVIGATION LLP is seeking a skilled Diving Technician to inspect, analyze, and troubleshoot diving systems for optimal performance. The role involves reviewing manuals, conducting tests, preparing reports, and contributing to preventative maintenance plans in a team-oriented environment.

The candidate should hold a technical trade qualification or have relevant diving workshop experience, with practical knowledge of diving equipment and physics.

Qualifications

• Technical trade qualification or relevant experience in diving field.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working in an active workshop environment.
• Practical and safe working experience in repairing and servicing diving gear and equipment.
• Strong academic background with solid technical knowledge and the ability to apply learned concepts effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with ERP systems.
• Must be physically fit to board vessels and perform job duties.
• Prefer candidates with a valid GCC driving license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, analyze, and troubleshoot diving systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Review repair manuals and collaborate with other professionals to address technical issues.
• Conduct tests and analyze results to provide effective recommendations for improvements.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and preventative maintenance plans.
• Apply knowledge of commercial diving, diving equipment, and diving physics in practical scenarios.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining excellent working relationships.
• Perform service and repair tasks under the guidance of senior diving technicians, following issued job cards and promptly returning completed job cards to senior personnel.
• Demonstrate respect for colleagues and a strong willingness to work cooperatively in all tasks.
